OK, this may be very basic info, but since our family goes thru a LOT of popcorn in one sitting, I found that the air popper variety is faster, healthier and the kids LOVE watching it pop.
If you don't have one, get yourself an air popper (15-20 bucks, or less). Then melt a bunch of butter! (you've got to have that!)
It's so much fun to sit together and share popcorn from a BIG bowl. (Did you ever read the Little House Book, "Farmer Boy"? If not, make sure you're NOT hungry when you read it, or else you will be fixing a snack for all the little listeners, including yourself after reading time!)

I've started a list of products with "tried and true" large family recommendations. Everything listed will not work for every family, but hey, if I can save someone else the time of searching the web for all these resources, then it would be worth it.
For homeschooling families, I will post links to sites for all types of subjects, resources, and curriculum. Once again, most of these links will be particular favorites that have been successful for our family, or for other homeschool families. Remember, “tried and true” will be our mantra!
